Pro trader boost

Pay a fixed price to have the platform's aged trader wallets each buy about one token of yours.

The Pro Trader Boost task form: how many pro traders to add. No task is created.

Pro Trader Boost puts experienced-looking buyers on your chart. You pay a price by tier, and the platform's own aged trader wallets each buy a small amount of your token.

What happens on-chain#

On Solana:

  1. The task takes the tier price in SOL from the wallets you picked. It takes from the richest wallet first, and each wallet keeps 0.03 SOL.
  2. The platform picks that many of its own trader wallets. These wallets are aged and have a real trading history.
  3. Each of them buys about one whole token of yours, with its own SOL. Each buy is marked as made through a known trading bot.
  4. The tokens stay in the platform's wallets. They never show on your Wallets page, and they are not yours.

A platform wallet never buys the same token twice. Your own wallets only pay the price. They make no trades.

On Robinhood Chain there are no platform wallets. The task's own funded wallets make the buys, and no tier price is charged.

Pro traders is the number of buyers you want. The price is per tier.

  • A count between two tiers uses the lower tier, and you get that tier's count. For example, 25 gets the 20 tier.
  • A count below 10 gets the 10 tier.
  • Above 500, each trader costs $0.25.
  • The price is paid in SOL at the current SOL price.

Before you start#

  • The token has a pool you can trade on. If it has none, the task fails before it takes the price.
  • The wallets you pick hold enough SOL for the price, plus 0.03 SOL each.

Set up Pro Trader Boost#

  1. Open the token in the terminal. In Tasks, press New task.
  2. Under Task type, pick Pro Trader Boost.
  3. Set Pro traders. Default 10.
  4. Pick the wallets that will pay.
  5. Press Create task, then Start.

There is no Preview for this task.

Key settings#

These sit under Advanced.

  • Delay between buys — the wait between two trader buys. Default 500 ms.
  • Slippage — default 25%, up to 100%.
  • Tries per buy — how often one trader's buy is retried. Default 5.
  • Stop after zero prices — the task fails after this many zero price reads. That happens when the token moved to a new pool or its pool ran dry. Default 3.
  • Stop after repeated errors — default 10.

How the price is taken#

  • If your wallets cannot cover the tier, the task drops to the biggest tier they can pay.
  • If they cannot pay even the $5 tier, the task fails and takes nothing.
  • If less than 95% of the price comes through, the task fails and no boost runs. What was already paid is kept.
  • There may be fewer platform wallets left that have not bought your token. The tier is then cut to what they can deliver.
One price per run

The task takes the tier price once per run. Start and Run again each begin a new run, so each one charges the full price. Resume after a pause and saving an edit while it runs do not charge again. The run then buys only the traders its paid tier still owes. See Real funds & confirms.

No refund for missed buys

The price is paid before any buy. Some trader buys may fail, fewer platform wallets may be ready, or the token may move to a new pool partway. In each case the price is not given back. This is not the trading platform fee. It is a separate price for the service.

Troubleshooting#

  • "insufficient funds for the fee" — your wallets cannot pay the $5 tier after keeping 0.03 SOL each. Add SOL to them.
  • "no pool with liquidity for this mint" — the token cannot be traded yet. Nothing was taken.
  • "no pro-trader wallet left that has not bought this mint" — every platform wallet already bought this token.
  • "this run's fee collection fell short" — less than 95% of the price came through, so no boost ran. Run again starts a new run, and it charges the price again.
  • "this run's fee collection was interrupted before it finished" — the task stopped while it was taking the price. It fails and never charges this run again. Ask Support to check what was taken.
